Liikenne Niemelä is now Lapland Tours. With this renewal, we now offer a broader service package alongside our traditional charter services, as part of the Lapland Hotels & Safaris travel offering. Our operations will continue in the spirit of Liikenne O. Niemelä’s long-standing traditions, and the familiar green buses will keep running safely and reliably on northern roads.
We provide scheduled and charter transportation services in Lapland for companies, organisations, and international tour operators. We don’t just sell transfers—we deliver reliability, smooth operations, and deep local knowledge of Lapland. We make sure your group is in the right place at the right time, even in demanding Arctic conditions.
A local partner – a comprehensive service package
We operate as a local partner especially in Rovaniemi, Kittilä, and Ivalo, but we also serve our customers across the airports and ports of Northern Sweden, Norway, and Finland—and, when needed, beyond. We support Finnish companies and organisations with, for example, corporate days, wellbeing and staff events, as well as transportation for sports clubs and event organisers. We also provide charter services for public-sector operators and are a contracted supplier under Hansel.
For international tour operators, we provide transportation throughout Northern Finland, Sweden, and Norway—among others to the North Cape, Tromsø, the Lofoten Islands, and Kiruna. We deliver round trips and multi-day group tours, where transportation is an essential part of the overall package.
In addition, we operate scheduled services on the Rovaniemi–Ivalo route year-round and on the Levi–SnowVillage–Ylläs route during the winter season.
